Implantology

At the Dental-aesthetic clinic dr Macura, we offer the service of installing basal and classic dental implants.

What is a dental implant?

A dental implant is a titanium replacement made of biocompatible material, which is surgically implanted into the jawbone and serves as a substitute for natural roots, or as a support for a prosthetic replacement. It consists of a part inside the jawbone and a part that protrudes from it, onto which a crown, bridge, or mobile-prosthetic replacement is placed, allowing for secure and long-lasting fixation.

Dental implants can restore your lost confidence and ensure proper and quality nutrition.

Basal Implants

Basal implants, also known as bicortical or implants anchored in cortical bone, are a type of dental implants that differ from traditional implants in terms of design and placement.

Unlike traditional dental implants, basal implants are anchored in cortical bone, which is denser and more stable than the spongy bone typically used for traditional implants.

Advantages of basal implants:

It is important to note that the placement of basal implants requires extensive experience and specialized training, and they are typically placed by surgeons.

Classical Implants

Classical implants are a popular and effective way to replace missing teeth. They are metal screws that are implanted into the jawbone and serve as a replacement for the root of the lost tooth.

Implants are usually made of titanium, which is a biocompatible material that integrates well into the bone.

The process of placing classical implants involves first surgically placing the implant into the bone, followed by a healing process to ensure the implant is securely anchored in the bone. After that, a prosthetic attachment is placed over the implant, which can be in the form of a crown, bridge, or fixed denture.

It is important to note that although traditional implants may offer some advantages, they may not be suitable for everyone. It is important to consult with a qualified dentist to determine the best treatments for your specific needs and situation.

What solutions do we offer?

All-on-4 / All-on-6

If you have lost your natural teeth due to health or other reasons, All-on-4 and All-on-6 systems are ideal solutions for you. These are methods of implanting 4 or 6 titanium implants that will fully replace the teeth in your upper, lower, or both jaws.

With good oral hygiene and regular dental checkups, this painless fixed solution lasts a lifetime. It will improve the structure of your entire face, boost your confidence, and give you the beautiful new smile you deserve.

According to your preference, the fixed prosthetic part can be made of metal-ceramics or zirconia.

Toronto bridge

If you are looking for a cheaper but quality solution, then Toronto bridge is the right choice for you.

On four implants, we make a dental bridge made of acrylic reinforced with a metal structure that is invisible from the outside and is located in the middle of the bridge. These are teeth made of acrylic in several natural shades. They meet high aesthetic criteria and function like natural teeth.

The acrylic bridge is cemented to the implants, making this a fixed prosthodontic solution.

Who do we recommend All-on-4 / All-on-6 / Toronto bridge to?

We recommend this procedure to patients who suffer from problems such as:
– Complete edentulism
– Extremely poor condition of most of the teeth, where the only option is to remove them completely
– Problems with dental prostheses and getting used to them

In such serious cases, which are not only of an aesthetic nature but also affect daily activities such as eating, it is necessary to visit an experienced oral specialist who will first analyze the overall dental situation and then make a detailed treatment and therapy plan.
